The collaboration that many fans have been waiting for seems to be materially taking shape, after that 50 Cent confirmed that he will record a joint album with Eminem.

Even Eminem himself recently revealed that the only thing standing in the way of the project is their “timing and organization.”

But now this obstacle seems to have been overcome. 50 Cent announced via Instagram on December 26 that he would come out of his self-imposed “retirement” to create the album. “Looks like I’ll finally be back in the control room!” he wrote. “I just need to do this residency in Las Vegas first.”

The rapper is now busy with “50 Cent: In Da Club,” six exclusive shows for his first Las Vegas residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, from Friday, December 27, 2024 to Saturday, January 4, 2025, including a special New Year’s Eve performance presented by Sire Spirits.

Already in 2023, the rapper and actor Curtis James Jackson III he revealed that he was working on new music (his last album of unreleased songs “Animal Ambition” dates back to 2014) and said that Eminem had already contacted him. “As soon as I said that, I got a text from him telling me he had already spoken to Drethat Dre is here and has some crazy stuff for me to listen to.”

He also explained how Dre’s involvement would elevate the project: “I’ll make something, what I can find, the best music I can get my hands on. And when I feel really good, I bring it to pressure Dre to give me something. Because he’s going to have something… He’s always had something.”

50 Cent and Eminem’s joint album is one of the most anticipated releases and follows their previous collaborations such as “Patiently Waiting”, “Peep Show”, “Crack a Bottle” and many more. Even if an official date has not been set, anticipation is high.
