AC/DC announce first 2025 tour dates in North America
AC/DC have announced their expected return to tour in North America for next year. The historic Australian band, which in recent months returned to perform in Europe after over eight years, also stopping in Italy for a date at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia (here is our story), will thus undertake in 2025 his first US tour in nine years. The series of dates will also be for the group the first overseas again with Brian Johnson on vocals who, due to his serious hearing problems, was replaced by Axl Rose after the live show in Kansas City on February 28, 2016.
The new concerts in North America are part of AC/DC’s tour in support of the album “Power up” (read the review here) their latest studio album released in November 2020. The lineup features, in addition to Johnson, Angus Young on lead guitar, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, Matt Laug on drums and bassist Chris Chaney.
The 2025 US tour will take starting next April 10th in Minnesota and, according to current plans, will conclude in Ohio on May 28. The news of the North American tour follows the rumors reported last November by the Milanese newspaper il Giorno, according to which AC/DC should land at the San Siro Stadium in Milan on July 20, 2025. At the moment, no confirmation or official information has yet arrived in this regard.
