A song for the summer: Adam’s “Night”
The night (1965) – Equipped with an unmistakable vocal stamp and a particularly happy inspiration, in a few months Adam alternates three songs in the ranking, in chronological order “The night”, “She”, “do not keep the pout”, who impose him on the Italian public: from us Adam comes after the successes in France and Belgium, where he grew up. “The night” has a simple and surprising architecture, which will allow the song periodicals relaunches, also free from the most mechanical revival exercise.
“If the day I can not think of the cursed night you / and when finally the dawn appears there is only the void around me. / The night you append to me immense in vain I try to grab you / but you have fun tormenting me / The night you let me go crazy.”
This news is, for a kind concession of the author and the publisher, by “linked to a grain of sand”, written by Enzo Gentile and published by Melampo Editore.
