Travis Birds begins a new stage in his career with “Zombieland”

“Zombieland” is the new single by Travis Birds and is the first letter of introduction of “N211”which will be the artist’s long-awaited new album. Conceptually conceived as a car journey along a national highway, the album proposes a journey of transformation. A journey in which the protagonist lets go of the rules, the rush and the expectations of others to reconcile with her own way of inhabiting the world.

“Zombieland” functions as kilometer zero and the narrative anchor of this story. The song recounts a purely cinematic escape from a reality that has ceased to hold; Like someone escaping from the epicenter of a zombie movie, the protagonist survives an intimate collapse and emerges alive, although not entirely unscathed. Between the cracks of destruction and disenchantment arise primary instinct, insubordination and an unstoppable urge for freedom.

In the musical section, the song introduces the sound that will define “N211”an album influenced by the seventies rock of Fleetwood Mac, the classic soul of Al Green and the closeness of Jarabe de Palo’s nineties pop-rock. A combination that relies on organic arrangements and an analog sound with a clear road vocation.
