DEPT. They return with “Brindarem” and concerts in Barcelona and Vic

Founded in the summer of 1999, DEPT. They quickly became one of the prominent bands on the Catalan scene of the time after breaking through with their debut “Zero Station”. With seven studio albums behind them, fifteen years of continuous filming and a prolific international reach, the band decided to take a break twelve years ago.

The lineup composed of David Rosell (voice and guitar), Txero Albà (keyboards), Pere Borralleras (low) and Gabi Codina (drums) resumes the project with “Brindarem”. El corte is an exercise in modern and luminous pop that reflects on the passage of time, defeats, learning and perseverance, claiming authenticity and the close bond that keeps its members together.

The song has been composed and produced by David Rosell himself in his studio, Can Pardaler. The vocalist once again puts his signature behind the controls, backed by more than two decades of experience in which he has been a key player in the sound of groups such as Txarango, Els Catarres, owls either Doctor Prats. To celebrate this new stage, the quartet has confirmed its first two dates on November 21 at the La Cabra Room (Vic) and the December 18 at the Wolf Room (Barcelona).
