107 Faunos present “Espera el Verano”, first single from “107 Faunus University”their eighth studio album. The song inaugurates a new stage for the band from La Plata, which in 2026 celebrates its twenty years of experience.

The song was recorded during the winter of 2026 in the Rest of the World Studies (Buenos Aires), produced by Felix Sisti Ripoll and Felipe Quintanswith Quintans in charge of recording and mixing, and Diego Guerrero in mastering. “Wait for summer” presents clean and reverberant guitars, a voice crossed by a radial filter and an atmosphere that moves between the sand, the sea and the evening light, with echoes of the indie groups of the late 2000s, indie sleaze and chillwave, filtered by the style of 107 Faunos.

“Wait for summer” is the first preview of “107 Faunus University” album that continues the band’s journey after “Comparative vandalism”published in 2024 by Laptra Discs and Spring Labels. 107 Faunos was born in La Plata and has been part of the city’s independent scene since the mid-2000s, being pioneers of local slacker indie rock and founders of the artistic collective Laptra.

The band is made up of Felix Sisti Ripoll (voice and guitar), Javier Sisti Ripoll (bass and chorus), Mora Sánchez Viamonte (keyboards) and Felipe Quintans (drums, guitar and vibraphone).
