“fomo”, fourth single from the duo Poster Boy

Luz Abril and María Lázaro present “fomo”, a new preview of Poster Boy that emerges as the natural evolution of their career together after their time with Trashi. What he began composing from home, between four walls is now positioned as one of the freshest and most honest proposals of the new national alternative scene.

After going through the process of letting go in “rodeo”, the clash with the dreams of youth in “motel” and the humor in the face of chaos in “t-shirt”, the Murcia-Madrid duo publishes “fomo”. In this new song, Poster Boy mixes their usual dream pop with a more rock touch, building a repertoire with which they are strengthening their own identity as a band.

“Fomo” talks about the exact moment when you realize that you no longer connect with the little things in life that used to make you feel good. With direct and everyday lyrics that draw on references such as Phoebe Bridgers, Girl in Red either Alvvaysthe song portrays the apathy that disconnection drags you into. It is a topic that questions aloud if one day we will be able to return to who we were before, or if we will be able to recover the magic and intensity of “the first time.”
