“Over”, the new single and video clip by Barcelona-born Diara

“Over” arrives a few months after “Me Mudo a Marte”, published in March, and “more sugar”, released last August, thus defining the guidelines of a project that moves between urban music, club, Afro rhythms and experimental pop.

Regarding the song, Diara points out that: “I wanted to try to make something deep that was fun and contagious, understanding the pain but giving it light.” That idea is translated into a song in Spanish and English, energetic and danceable, that combines urban dance-pop, Afro rhythms, guitars, basses and bright synthesizers. Production is carried out by Iseekarlo (Karl Lee)regular collaborator of Diara and member of the Barcelona collective CuteMobb.

Born in 2005, to a Catalan mother and Senegalese father, Diara writes, produces and participates in the construction of her entire artistic project, also in its visual dimension. For this reason, “Over” comes with a video clip directed by Diara, Marina Santos and Biel Herráez, which transfers to visual language the idea of ​​transformation and liberation that the song goes through.
