Both works are included in Bistec Music, the record label founded by the artist under the umbrella of Universal Music. “We are an independent label, a place where projects like these can exist that do not make much sense for them to come out on Universal. All the artists are colleagues. I am not trying to sign the group, but it is a medium that we have, the community that we are and that is also open.”

“Personally I believe that culture must have a political commitment”

Teo Lucadamo He doesn’t stop working, and tells us what has led him to dedicate his life fully to music. “It is an amazement at reality and a way of describing reality that I believe is the constant in my work. Reality is inexplicable, so this has been my way of being able to take all that intangible and put it down on paper. Reality seems fascinating to me. Amazing, mysterious, magical… and all of that through my personality is sarcasm. Also the groove is always there, beats that make you move, heavy, harsh drums, bass grooves… The basses are very identifiable in my music. They are always basses. that make you move your ass. And then I come from the world of jazz-rap. I hang out with musicians who play jazz and I think that’s there a lot.”

The musical is not the only commitment he shows with his new work. “It’s an album that I think started with ‘Ceciarmy’, which was the first song that had this very contemporary message of ‘What is this nonsense about the kids’ news being Ceciarmy? Why does Ceciarmy make headlines and why does it have millions of followers? And what headlines does it make?
