The First Summer, the first day: the galleries

It started yesterday, June 20th, The First Summerthe festival that this weekend and then from 26 to 28 June animates the BussolaDomani Park in Lido di Camaiorein Versilia. The exhibition opened with Arianna Lorenzi and Francesco Tommasi, who together form the project unadasola. After them they went on stage for the first date of La Prima Estate, the band of Jagwaritraining divided between Genoa and Milan. Then it was the turn of Lissy TaylorEnglish indie-rock and alt-pop singer-songwriter originally from Stoke-on-Trent, before co-headlining The Hives and of Jack White (here is our story), for the first time in Italy as a soloist.

The festival continues today with the all-Italian day led by Marlene Kuntz (here is our interview with Cristiano Godano), who celebrate 30 years of “Vile”, preceded on stage by Ministers, Casino Royale, Yes! Boom! Voila! and Verida. We continue on June 21st with Ewan Sim, Ramona Flowers, Wombats, Libertines And Richard Ashcroft. Prima Estate therefore returns next week with Sara Parigi, Dove Ellis, Emilíana Torrin, Sleaford Mods and Nick Cave with the Bad Seeds on June 26th. The next day it’s time to Bhadmari, Don West, Nation of Language, Wolf Alice hey Gorillaz who will present the new album on stage “The mountain” (read the review here). The festival ends on June 28th with Aurevoir Sòfia, Midnight Generation, Wet Leg and Twenty One Pilots.
