A celebratory medal for Vasco Rossi’s tour
Vasco Rossi will have an official commemorative medal for “Vasco Live 2026”. The work was created by the School of the Art of the Medal of the State Printing and Mint Institute and will accompany the tour which will start this weekend, May 30th from Rimini: the medal will be distributed to spectators in possession of the VIP ticket for the tour. For the School of the Art of the Medal, this is the second work dedicated to a great Italian singer-songwriter, after the plectrum medal created in 2025 in homage to Pino Daniele.
The sketch chosen by Vasco bears the signature of Eleonora Curti, an artist in advanced training at the historic Roman school founded in 1907 within the State Mint. The medal was designed in the SAM laboratories and minted in bronze in the workshops of the State Mint. On the front of the medal Vasco is depicted with his back to the audience, with the studded jacket and hat that have characterized his live image for years. The “No danger for you” logo appears on the back, surrounded by the raised arms of the fans.
“Since the medal is dedicated to the fans, I wanted to represent Vasco in front of his audience,” explained Eleonora Curti. “The beauty of his concerts is precisely this: the collective energy, the arms raised, the feeling of all being together, like a large community”. The artist also said that she was a historical fan of Zocca’s rocker, to the point of having named her son Vasco.
