Fatboy Slim releases the mashup with the Rolling Stones after 25 years

The cover of the new Rolling Stones album has been revealed

The impressive announcement campaign for the new Rolling Stones album continues, made up not so much of direct announcements but of various pieces to fit together and decipher. In this case, that of the cover, literally a puzzle to be reassembled: three posts on the accounts of Mick Jagger, Ron Wood and Keith Richards, each with a piece of what will most likely be the cover of “Foreign Tongues”, the release date should be set for July 10th (but, here too, there hasn’t been a complete announcement).
The three “bands” make up the drawing of a face, which in turn appears to be composed of the three faces of Jagger, Wood and Richards.

To reveal the title, the band had not made an announcement but had shared a series of images depicting billboards that had appeared in various cities around the world, all sharing the same message: the title of the new album, in various foreign languages - “Foreign tongues”, in fact. As we told you in this piece, the campaign began with the publication of the first single, “Rough and twisted”, with a white label vinyl attributed to the Cockroaches, a pseudonym that Jagger and his associates used at the beginning of the ’80s for some surprise concerts, and distributed to independent record shops in very few copies, including Italy.
Nothing else is known about the Andrew Watt-produced successor to Hackney Diamonds – until the next piece of the puzzle.
