Michael Jackson: the songs from the “Michael” soundtrack
It divided the critics, between enthusiastic reviews and others less so (here’s ours), but not the public: “Michael“, the biopic dedicated to Michael Jackson, on its first day in theaters in Italy yesterday, grossed a whopping 1,099,269 euros and was seen by 135,026 spectators. The film, starring the nephew of the King of Pop Jaafar Jackson, directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Oscar winner Graham King (already behind “Bohemian Rhapsody”, the biopic dedicated to Freddie Mercury and Queen), traces the human and artistic parable of the voice of “Thriller”: from childhood to success with the Jackson 5, up to his consecration as a soloist and worldwide success soundtrack is made up of some of Jackson’s biggest hits. “Michael: Songs from the motion picture”, this is the title, will be released tomorrow – Friday 24 April – For Sony Musicbut it can already be pre-ordered at this link.
