A cover that Bob Dylan had never done
Bob Dylan performed a cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Nervous Breakdown” for the first time ever during his first concert of the tour”Rough And Rowdy Ways“.
At the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, NebraskaDylan contributed some changes to the lineup and the stage setup already seen in previous stops on the tour, including the transition from electric guitars to acoustic guitars and a grand piano instead of keyboards.
He also played for the first time in his career”Nervous Breakdown“, a rock’n’roll classic by Cochran in 1958, and although phones were banned from the public, audio of the performance turned up online.
During the concert, Dylan also performed a cover of “I Can Tell”. Bo Diddley and performed the 1989 song ” for the first time in 13 yearsMan In The Long Black Coat“.
