Kraftwerk celebrate “Radio-Activity” with a reissue and tour
To celebrate “Radio Activity“, Kraftwerk’s fifth studio album originally released in November 1975 (titled in German “Radio-Aktivität”), a tour and the release of a reprint which will be available via Parlophone Records next May 15th.
The album then returns in a re-release with a new Dolby Atmos mix, the result of a reconstruction work starting from the original tapes 16-track at the legendary Kling Klang Studio, edited of the founder of the German electronic band Ralf Hütter and Fritz Hilpert. “Radio-Activity”, which was originally released as the group’s first entirely electronic albumconceived as a concept album built around the themes of radioactive decay and radio communication.
The celebratory reprint will be available in three different versionsincluding a Blu-ray audio with the Dolby Atmos mix with an internal booklet enclosed in a celebratory graphic for the 50th anniversary, a vinyl picture disc 12-inch with the 2009 stereo remaster and a complete digital publication on all major streaming platforms of the Dolby Atmos mix.
“Radio-Activity” will also be celebrated with a series of concerts in the UK and Ireland including 17 dates between May and June 2026.
