Iron Maiden, here is the first trailer for the film ‘Burning ambition’

The first trailer for the new documentary on the Iron Maiden, “Burning Ambition”which includes cameos from the actor Jarvier BardemOf Tom MorelloOf Lars Ulrich and others still. The film, directed by Malcolm Venvilleis coming out in theaters in May.

The documentary traces the long career of the British band. In the film there is footage of the band on stage and behind the scenes over the years, as well as interviews with various members of the group. Guests include their co-manager Rod Smallwood and some famous fans.

In the clip he also references the decision to replace the original frontman Paul Di’Anno with Bruce Dickinsonwhich the band describes as the “missing piece of the puzzle”, and to the ambitious plans that bassist Steve Harris had for the group from the beginning: “Steve had this vision, and if anyone got in the way, he wouldn’t stay in the band.”

. Later in the video, as NME reports, the band also look back at the challenges they’ve faced over the years, including the rise of the grunge movement, serious health issues and the resulting temptation to “give it all up.”

The film’s synopsis reads: “With unprecedented access to the band’s official archives, ‘Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition’ traces five decades of one of the most iconic journeys in music history. Featuring interviews with the band and figures like Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich and Chuck D, this electrifying film offers an intimate look at their uncompromising vision and their unshakable bond with their global army of fans.”

The documentary comes out while the band is busy on tour
‘Run For Your Lives’
which also has an Italian stop planned
June 17 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan
