Peter Frampton releases his first album of unreleased songs in 16 years

Peter Frampton will publish next May 15th “Carry The Light”his first album of unreleased songs in 16 years. The album was written and produced together with his son Julian and boasts collaborations with Sheryl Crow, Bill Evans, H.E.R., Tom Morello, Graham Nash And Benmont Tench. “Carry The Light” will be released in multiple formats, including CD, 180-gram yellow vinyl, and digitally with stereo, Hi-Res Audio and immersive Dolby Atmos options. A special limited edition on vinyl, with a high-quality and numbered cover, will be available exclusively via the official store Peter FramptonuDiscover Music and Sound Of Vinyl.

Regarding the album Frampton said: “The album ‘Carry The Light’ is my first new work in 16 years. It has been one of the most rewarding projects ever. I had the opportunity to work with my son Julian, writing and producing together. I’m sure it will be the first of many more similar projects.”

. The song is a tribute to
Tom Petty
and the SiriusXM radio program of the same name that the musician who died in 2017 curated and hosted for 15 years, with lyrics entirely inspired by the titles of Petty’s songs.
