He passed away yesterday, Sunday 15 March, at the age of 78 Pasquale ‘Paki’ Canzileader of The New Angelsa beat musical group that experienced its moment of maximum fame in the first part of the seventies with its songs “Woman Happiness” (1971), “Singapore” (1972) e “Anna to Forget” (1973) with which he sold 8 million records.

Pasquale Canzi he was born in Milan on 8 September 1947. He began his career in the music world in 1963 as a member of the duo Paki & Pakia group composed of him and Pasquale Andriola. In 1966, again together with Andriola, he founded The New Angels: Paki Canzi singer and keyboardist, Andriola singer and guitarist, Renato Sabbioni to the bottom and Ricky Rebaioli to the battery.
