Pasquale Canzi he was born in Milan on 8 September 1947. He began his career in the music world in 1963 as a member of the duo Paki & Pakia group composed of him and Pasquale Andriola. In 1966, again together with Andriola, he founded The New Angels: Paki Canzi singer and keyboardist, Andriola singer and guitarist, Renato Sabbioni to the bottom and Ricky Rebaioli to the battery.
