J Balvin and Steve Vai perform “Jump” by Van Halen
“Jump” of the Van Halen was reinvented and became the Coca-Cola anthem for the 2026 football world cup, thanks to the Colombian pop star J Balvin and the American singer-songwriter Amber Mark supported by the guitarist Steve Vai and the drummer of Blink-182 Travis Barker.
The new version of “Jump” retains the synths of the original version of Van Halen, released in December 1983 as the album’s first single “1984”, and is accompanied by a video with animated versions of all the musicians who collaborated, as well as the Spanish footballer Yamal laminaewho perform in a space stadium.

J Balvin
said: “For me, music has always been about uniting people from different countries and cultures, and “Jump” is precisely this shared energy. From the stands at the stadium to those watching at home, everyone knows that moment when emotions run high and you leap for greatness. Collaborating with Coca-Cola for their 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem was a natural fit: it’s about enthusiasm, energy and creating something that feels real. This song is about celebrating life and living in the moment.”
