San Marino Song Contest 2026, Senhit feat. wins. Boy George
Yesterday evening at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana in San Marino the final of the singing competition was held to decide who will represent the Republic of San Marino at the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest which will be held in Vienna, Austria, from 12 to 16 May.
To impose oneself on San Marino Song Contestout of a batch of twenty-one finalists representing fourteen countries was Senhit feat. Boy George with the song “Superstar”. The frontman of Culture Club in addition to his vocal contribution, he is also co-author and producer of the song. Senhit he has already represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with “Stand by” and in 2021 with the feat of Flo Rida with the song “Adrenaline”.
The final evening of San Marino Song Contest 2026 was conducted by Simona Ventura and the winner was chosen by a jury chaired by Federica Gentile and composed of Roberto Sergio (General Director of Rai and RTV San Marino which organizes the event), Mario Andrea Ettorre (Marketing Director Siae), and by musicians Massimo Zanotti and Beppe D’Onghia.
As reported by ANSA, according to the jury’s votes she placed second Kelly Joyce (France) with “Oh La La”in third place Paolo Belli with “Beautiful” and fourth ex aequo Maya Azucena (United States) with “My Sin” And Inis Neziri (Albania) with “Aurora”.
Among others, the quality jury prize (made up of Morgan, Iva Zanicchi And Red Ronnie), went to Dolcenera that with “My love” the Siae prize also won while the ‘Ludovico Di Meo’ press prize was won by the duo of Italian artists Pellegrina Pibigas with “The Day That”.
