Sanremo 2026: the report cards of the third (very missable) evening
Ready, go: the third evening of the 2026 Sanremo Festival features the fifteen competing singers who did not perform the previous evening. The public, through televoting, and the Radio Jury vote on the performances of the big names. A partial ranking of the 15 songs will then be drawn up, with the public receiving notification of the top 5 positions, in no order of placement. Televoting will have a weight of 50%, the remaining 50% will be from the Radio Jury.
Mara Sattei – “The things you don’t know about me” – 6
A love song, which she helped write, which finally enhances her.
Luchè – “Labyrinth” – 5
The piece, with dark hues, is well written and produced. But the Neapolitan rapper still cannot find a balance on the Ariston stage, he is not entirely able to communicate with the orchestra and gets lost in avoidable moves. He still hasn’t found the exit from this “labyrinth”.
Michele Bravi – “Sooner or later” – 5
A dusty song, which gets lost in the sea of this cast. But for the first time Bravi sings it in a more joyful and less modest way.
Arisa – “Magical fairy tale” – 6
You hear this song and think of a Disney movie – we certainly weren’t the only ones who noticed. It’s not his best song, but what a voice, and what grace.
Samurai Jay – “Obsession” – 4
Even Belen appears, who we will see again on the cover evening. We skip and listen to Bad Bunny, which is the original.
Serena Brancale – “Here with me” – 7
The most beautiful voice of this Festival, a voice with which he seems to want to climb the sky to greet his mother who is no longer here. One flaw: a very, a little too much, classic song.
Eddie Brock – “Vultures” – 5
He sings a piece that has a beautiful melody quite badly. Some wonder what he is doing among the big names and they are not entirely wrong, despite his friendliness and his naïve spirit.
Francesco Renga – “The best of me” – 5
We’re not sure it’s his best.
Raf – “Now and forever” – 6
Today he switched to Rockol, and reminded us of his rock beginnings, of when his band opened for the Clash in Bologna, and how he was shocked to have success with pop. Here it is yet another very classic dimension, effective in its own way: another song about a promise of love for life, but decidedly less easy than Sal Da Vinci’s.
Thirteen Peter – “Man falling” – 5
The piece is well written, musically and also from a textual point of view. Dimartino’s contribution can be felt. However, his performance continues to not completely convince us.
Sal Da Vinci – “Forever yes” – 5
It’s so scary it’s perfect for becoming a hit. Behind it are authors and musicians with great experience: it is programmed to go far, but it remains a very light song with easy and at times trashy lyrics.
Malika Ayane – “Nocturnal animals” – 7
On the second pass Malika has more fun and the song picks up even more rhythm. We need more nocturnal animals on the Festival stage.
Leo Gassmann – “Natural” – 5
A beautiful interpretation for a song that can be listened to, but which has the flavor of what has already been heard.
Marie Antoinette and Colombre – “Happiness and that’s it” – 8
A delightful song: they have fun and have fun. Among the very few who transmit beautiful vibrations and give sincere smiles. They are our Rich and Poor of this Sanremo, and it is obviously a great compliment.
Before the entry of the big names, room for final of the New Proposals between Angelica Bove, who presented the song “Mattone”, and Nicolò Filippucci, in competition with “Laguna”.
Angelica Bove – “Brick” – 8
A song that grows, in intensity and with an excellent interpretation – even superior to some of the big names in the competition. (The vote of the Rockol editorial staff goes to her)
Nicolò Filippucci – “Laguna” – 7
Theoretically it starts as a favorite among young people and here too we are faced with a song that would not have disfigured in the main cast, considering the level of this year and the very classic approach of “Laguna”. He is the winner of the New Proposals category.
