Sanremo, Niccolò Filppucci wins the New Proposals

The third evening of Sanremo 2026 opened with the final of the New Proposals, with the clash between Nicolò Filippucci and Angelica Bove.

The winner of the new proposals is Niccolò Filppucci with “Laguna”.

Angelica Bove won the critics’ award – the Rockol editorial team, which votes in the press room, voted for her. Angelica Bove also won the Sala Lucio Dalla award.

Who is Niccolò Filippucci

Nicolò Filippucci was born in Castiglione del Lago (PG) in 2006. He approached music at the age of seven, inspired by his music-loving mother, and at nine he made his debut in the children’s choir of the Morlacchi Conservatory of Perugia. In 2023 he flies to New York for the NYCanta final, where he takes second place. In 2024 he entered the “Amici” school, and during the program he published the unpublished “Non mi dimenticherò”, “Yin e Yang” and “Cuore laundry”. In May 2025, preceded by the single of the same name, his first EP “Un’ora di Sicurezza” was released.
He arrives at the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival, among the New Proposals, after winning the Sanremo Giovani talent show.
