Sanremo 2026: in the final each spectator will have only one televote
To balance the outcome of the press room, radio and public votes in the five-man final of the 2026 Sanremo Festival, Rai and the host and artistic director Carlo Conti have decided to make a change to the regulations. By virtue of this change, each spectator in the five-man final will have only one televoting available, instead of three, like last year. This was announced by Rai prime time entertainment deputy director Claudio Fasulo: “We intended to optimize the weight of televoting and avoid compulsive voting, providing the user with an effective, functioning, correct system, with only one vote from home in the final five”. The three components, press room, radio and public with televoting, will each have a weight of 33, 33 and 34% on the final ranking, but the votes of the final will be added to those of all the evenings.
