Patty Pravo’s 29th studio album is titled “Opera”, like the song competing in Sanremo: it will be released on March 6th by Nar International – Ada/Warner Music Italy, with the production of Taketo Gohara. In addition to the title track, written by Giovanni Caccacamo, it will contain 10 songs written – among others – by Giuliano Sangiorgi, Morgan, Serena Brancale, Raphael Gualazzi, Francesco Bianconi, Veronica Lucchesi and Dario Mangiaracina (La Representative di Lista), Marianne Mirage and Andrea Bonomo, Federico Dragogna, Pierpaolo Capovilla, Cristina Donà and Saverio Lanza.
These are the titles of the songs: Opera; It’s raining today; The two of us; Damn truth; Impertinent love; Balance; Photos in mailbox; I’ve tried everything; What do you want it to be; Ratatan; The island.

Caccamo is also the Art Director of the graphic and visual concept of the album while on the stage of the Festival Patty Pravo will appear wearing clothes designed by Simone Folco. On the covers evening on Friday 27 February, the artist will pay homage to Ornella Vanoni by performing “Ti lascio una canzone” (text by Gino Paoli and music by Gino Paoli and Peppe Vessicchio) accompanied on stage by Timofej Andrijashenko, principal dancer of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

After Sanremo, Patty Pravo will present “Opera” in the museums of some of the most important Italian cities, in dialogue with Giovanni Caccamo: on March 25th in Milan (Gallerie d’Italia); March 27 in Florence (Palazzo Medici Riccardi); March 29 in Rome (National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art); March 31 in Naples (Gallerie d’Italia). The “Opera Tour”, produced by Antonio Colombi, will start on April 8th.
