“we will reveal its essence” – the lowercase initial is desired – is the debut album by RaraOvis, a musical project born in 2021 and led by Leonardo Pegoraro, Italian-Australian writer and composer. The album was created with the contribution of Matteo Ricci (Studio 77, Genoa) and under the artistic direction of Fabio Zuffanti.

The concept album explores the theme of Eros in five songs, fusing rock, symphonic orchestrations and experimentation. The voices are by Fabio Cinti and Irene Manca, accompanied by an ensemble of ten other musicians: Leonardo Pegoraro (music, lyrics, arrangements, keyboards), Matteo Ricci (arrangements, electric guitars, soundscaping, recording and mixing), Luca Scherani (piano), Andrea Orlando (drums), Giulio Gaietto (bass and keyboards), Massimo Montarese and Marco Topini (guitars), Osvaldo Loi (violin and viola), Mauro Serpe (flute), Jacopo Gabutto (transverse flute, clarinet, bassoon, final track).

Each song represents a distinct moment in Eros’ journey: from initial uncertainty, through introspection and emotional tension, up to the final suite of over twenty minutes, which summarizes the musical and thematic journey of the album.
