Spotify has released the traditional end-of-year rankings relating to the most listened to artists and songs on the platform. Wrapped 2025 sees the heroes of rap and trap triumph once again: the most listened to male artist in Italy in 2025 is Sfera Ebbasta, while among women in first place is Anna. Maneskin are confirmed as the most listened to Italian artists abroad for the fourth consecutive year, followed by Gabry Ponte, Ludovico Einaudi and Damiano David as a soloist. “Balorda nostalgia” by Olly is the most listened to song of 2025, followed by “Incoscienti Nuovi” by Achille Lauro and “Neon” by Sfera Ebbasta and Shiva.
As for the rest of the world, Bad Bunny beats Taylor Swift: he is the most streamed artist globally on Spotify in 2025. The album “Debí tirar más fotos” by the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and rapper takes first place among the most listened to albums, while “Die with a smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars triumphs among the singles.
