Motta made the music of the film “All the fault of the rock”

An ex rocker, a promise to keep, an unlikely band … and one opportunity to redeem himself. “All the fault of the rock” arrives at the cinema from 28 August, with previews throughout Italy on 9 and 10 August, distributed by Piper Film. The original soundtrack is signed by Motta, which also takes care of musical supervision. The unpublished song “Born in the wrong place”, interpreted by Naska, unites the sounds of Motta, Cor poison and damage, in a contamination between worlds and artists at times surprising. The Tuscan singer -songwriter gets involved once again in the realization of film music after “The land of children” in 2021, “The Cage – in the cage” in 2024 and “Do not reattach” in the same year.

Directed by Andrea Jublin and produced by Mattia Guerra, the film is a Be Water Film and Piper Film production, in collaboration with Netflix, and is played by Lillo Petrolo, Maurizio Lastrico, Elio, Naska – for the first time on the big screen – Valerio Aprea, Massimo De Lorenzo, Agnese Claisse, Massimo Cagnina, with Carolina Crescentini. “All the fault of rock” has the ambition to be much more than a comedy, it is a sincere tribute to saving, overwhelming and identity of music. Bruno (Lillo) is a former rock guitarist in free fall: liar, narcissist, father absent. He ends up in prison after a long series of wrong choices. When everything seems lost, an unexpected occasion presents itself: to form a band with other prisoners to participate in the Roma Rock Contest. At stake, the money necessary to keep the promise made to the daughter Tina: take her to America for a legendary “rock tour”. At his side, a “formation” as unlikely as it is irresistible: Roberto (Maurizio Lastrico), cell roommate; the professor (Elio), cynical and silent; Eva (Agnese Claisse), a drummer with an explosive character; Bone (Massimo Cagnina), a giant with a fragile heart; and K-Bone (Naska), former trapper with a poet soul. Between unexpected clashes, music and ties, the band will find in art an opportunity for rebirth. The cast Carolina Crescentini, Valerio Aprea, Massimo De Lorenzo and Massimo Cagnina complete the cast.
