Ferrara Buskers Festival 2025: over 60 shows in the evening

Back the Ferrara Buskers Festival: now in its 30th edition, the international review of the street musician takes place this year from 27 to 31 August. For five days, the suggestive Historic center of Ferrara It turns into an outdoor theater, for a program that provides more than 60 shows every evening, beyond talk, exhibition, laboratories For adults and children dedicated to the environment and music, one street food and a market of artistic crafts.

The opening of the Festival is held on 27 August at 6 pm, with the presentation of the artists present; The closure, as usual, is scheduled from 5pm on Sunday 31 August, with the parade of the Marching Band, the performance within the “Bring your guitar and Busker!” initiative! ” And finally, the projection of “Jimmy and Lucio: notes in the margin“Dedicated to Lucio Dalla and Jimmy Villotti.

Among the novelties of this edition, there are The Buskers schoola cycle of three introductory meetings to the busking to teach to improvise and transform the unexpected into opportunities, as happens to buskers on the street; They will take place in Ferrara on 04/08, 11/08 and 18/08, they will be free and open to all.

Among the very first events in Italy to receive the ISO 20121 certification for the project Bogen face to good practices compared to the decrease in waste, the Ferrara Buskers Festival has the participation of 90 groups invited to a total, for a total of 259 artists, of which 121 they are under 35.
