Ghost return to Italy for a single date: cell phones prohibited

More than a year after their last Italian title, Ghost have announced their return to concert in Italy for a single date. Bringing the band led by Tobias Forge back to our area is the “World Tour 2025” which will stop at the Unipol Forum in Milan on Sunday 4 May 2025.

In addition to pre-emption for Mastercard cardholders (from 10am on Tuesday 29 October) and for users registered with My Live Nation (from 10am on Wednesday 30 October), tickets will be available on general sale from 10am on Thursday 31 October.

As has already been done by many other artists, from Bob Dylan (here is our story of the show in Milan last year) to Tool, to give some examples, the Swedish rock band has decided to ban the use of smartphones at its concerts, including the next one scheduled in Milan. As stated in a press release, “this concert will be a phone-free experience. The use of cell phones, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.” Regarding the regulation, we then read:

“Upon arrival at the venue, all phones will be secured in special Yondr envelopes which will be opened at the end of the event. Guests will retain possession of their phones at all times and can access them for the duration of the event by going to the designated area for the use of phones within the venue. All phones will be placed in Yondr bags before returning to the event space. Anyone seen using a mobile phone during the performance will be escorted out of the concert space . Attendees are encouraged to bring alternative methods to mobile payment for on-location purchases. We appreciate your partnership in creating a phone-free viewing experience.”
