1MNEXT 2025: online registration (free) for the contest is open
After the feedback from the last edition, which recorded the highest TV share since 2009 and, with #1M2024, achieved coverage on social media of over 42 million unique contacts and 227 million impressions, the Rome May Day Concert returns promoted by CGIL, CISL and UIL and organized from iCompany.
As per tradition, al Concertone 2025 is joined 1MNEXT, the contest dedicated to the search for new artists which last year was won by Lily, singer-songwriter from Turin, with the song “Saint Rosalia”.
Registrations to 1MNEXT 2025 are open from today, Tuesday 10 December until February 16, 2025. Chosen through various selection phases, the 3 winners will be invited to perform on the stage of the Concertone 2025 in Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome.
Registration is completely free and can take place exclusively online through the site 1mnext.primomaggio.net.
Artists of any age who perform works of any musical genre are admitted, but “cover” songs are not permitted.
Following the unquestionable preliminary evaluation of the artistic direction of the May Day Concert, the names of at least 50 artists who will access the subsequent selection phase will be made known by 11 March 2025.
From 11 to 31 March 2025 the public online will be able to express their appreciation voting for your favorite artist.
The vote of the network public will be added to that of one quality jury made up of professionals.
The final evaluation of the individual artist will be established by adding, as a weighted percentage, the web vote with that of the quality jury. The popular web jury will account for 25% of the final evaluation while the quality jury will have a weight of 75%.
Within on April 11, 2025 final grades will be published and the names of at least will be officially announced 10 finalist artists who will be invited to perform live in the final phase of the contest, the procedures for which will be specified at a later date.
In the final selection, the quality jury alone will have the task of choosing the 3 winning artists 1MNEXT 2025 who will be invited to perform on the stage of the May Day Concert 2025.
The overall winner of the contest will finally be proclaimed and awarded during the Concertone.
